Our last photo all together before they leave

Picture
Well, this week has been a very busy one for us all.  We are on our final week together as the puppies all leave us this week and go to live in their new homes.  All the paperwork is now complete and filed in each puppy wallet, fourteen days of food is prepared and cooked, puppy bags are done and  everything is  ready for their new families to collect.  They had their final dose of wormer on Tuesday and then Wednesday, was our visit to the vet with all the puppies for their vet checks, vaccines and microchips.  I was very glad when that visit was over and done with and I think I felt worse than the puppies when they all had their 'chips' done.  They were not a bit phased by their first visit to the vet and they created lots and lots of interest with everyone in the waiting room wanting to take a look at them and one guy even taking their photo to show his wife.  How cool is that!!!

They all got an excellent bill of health and were declared a very healthy bunch that I should be very proud of, I was told they were a good example of the breed with each one being to the breed standard.  Two of our puppies are now with their new families and the final three are moving to their new homes tomorrow.  They have been a pleasure to look after this past eight weeks and I hope they give their new families many enjoyable years of fun and love.  I have done my utmost to give them the very best  start in their lives and I know that my job is now almost done.  I have loved them, enjoyed them and will miss them very much but I also know that they are ready to be loved and cared for by their new companions.

Good Luck to the puppies and to all my new families and I hope you have a really happy and fulfilling life with your new additions.
